Ordering, collection and delivery

How do I order online?

First choose collection at Le Plateau du Berger or delivery, then add your cheese platters or raclette to the basket. You pay online when you order.

Where do I collect my order?

At Le Plateau du Berger, Chaussée de Waterloo 589 in Ixelles, on the day and at the time chosen when ordering. Opening hours and directions are on the Contact page.

Do you deliver in Brussels?

Yes, across the 19 Brussels municipalities, at the time slot of your choice. The delivery price is shown when you order, based on your address.

How far ahead should I order?

Sliced raclette is ready within a few hours; raclette platters and most cheese platters in 24 working hours; exclusive creations such as the floral platter take a little longer. The lead time for each product is shown on its page.

Can I add a note to my order?

Yes: in the basket, “Add a note for the shop” lets you mention an allergy, a slicing preference or a message.

Which payment methods do you accept?

Bancontact, bank cards and the other methods offered by our secure payment platform (Mollie), when you order.

Can I get an invoice in my company’s name?

Yes: tick “I would like an invoice in my company’s name” at checkout and enter your VAT number. The invoice is sent to you by email.

Raclette

How much cheese should I allow?

200 g of raclette per adult, 250 g for hearty appetites, 100 g per child. On the raclette page, the assistant works it out for you.

Is there a minimum order for raclette?

Yes: for collection, from 2 portions of raclette; for delivery, from €35.

Sliced, on platters or a wheel: which should I choose?

Sliced, you choose freely from around fifteen farmhouse raclettes and arrange them yourself. On platters, our cheesemongers arrange your raclettes on lovely wooden boards, with or without charcuterie, from 4 people. A quarter or half wheel is scraped with the traditional machine, for large gatherings.

Do you offer potatoes?

Yes, oven-baked, for delivery only. Gherkins and pearl onions are available for both collection and delivery.

Raclette machines

Do you lend the raclette machine?

Yes, subject to availability. The household machine is lent free, with no deposit, from 6 people, collected or delivered with your order. The traditional half-wheel machine comes with a raclette wheel: it is collected in store, against a €50 deposit paid on site.

When should I return the machine?

Within 48 working hours, to the shop where you collected it (or to La Petite Vache in Uccle for a delivery).

Cheese platters

How much cheese per person?

150 g as a main course, 100 g as an aperitif or after the meal, 200 g for hearty appetites.

What is on a platter?

A great platter brings together a goat’s cheese, a creamy cheese, a hard cheese such as Comté, a blue and a cheese with character. We put it together from our best selection of the moment, so there is no “standard” platter.

Can I personalise a platter?

For a special request, an allergy or a large event, add a note to your order or write to us. The wedding cheesecake is made on quotation.

The cheese bar

How do I book a raclette or 100% Cheesy evening?

Upcoming dates and remaining seats are on the Cheese bar page: choose your date and book online.

Can I hire the room privately?

Yes, for groups of 12 to 30: cheese buffet, raclette, fondues, aperitif boards, wine or beer pairings. Ask for a quote.
